Dana Labrie
Founder & President
Dana Labrie brings Division I coaching experience, Hall of Fame athletic achievement, and over a decade of community leadership to the founding of 7 Gens Swimming.
A former standout swimmer at Cleveland State University, Dana was a three-time “Outstanding Female Swimmer of the Year,” Team Captain, and conference champion in the 200 IM. She was inducted into the Cleveland State University Swimming & Diving Hall of Fame in 2005.
Following graduation, Dana coached at the collegiate and age-group levels, guiding swimmers into competitive meets. In recent years, she remained active as a Masters swimmer, winning the Ontario Masters Championship in 2016.
Dana also played a key role in advocating for competitive aquatic development in Parry Sound, contributing to the business plan and facility recommendations for the new competition-ready pool.

The ideal Head Coach will:
- Bring competitive swimming experience at the age-group or senior level
- Inspire athletes through strong technical coaching and mentorship
- Uphold the club’s values of excellence, leadership, and community
- Collaborate with the Founder & President to build a sustainable, high-performance program
Assistant Coach(s)
Seeking Candidates
7 Gens Swimming may engage paid and/or volunteer assistant coaches to support program delivery and athlete development.
Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting practices for various skill levels
- Assisting with swim clinics and technique sessions
- Helping implement training plans designed by the Head Coach and Founder
- Collaborate with the Founder & President to build a sustainable, high-performance program
